Cabbage Apple Slaw

– Thinly sliced green cabbage

– thinly sliced apple (red, green, yellow…any apple)

– thinly sliced onion

– a coin sized amount of salt

– a very light coating of rice vinegar

– the juice from half of a small lemon

– A heaping dash of brewer’s yeast

1. Mix this all together in a small bowl. Really stir it around, use your hands and a spoon.

2. Grab a fist full of the slaw and grind it with your fingers and palm. Mash it up, massage the salt and acidic juices into the produce.

3. Eat.
